For flexible packaging, Karlville Converting will exhibit as part of the Digital Pouch Factory, within the HP Indigo booth, the standard Pack Ready laminator. Once again, HP, together with Karlville Converting and Karlville Swiss, will showcase the Digital Pouch Factory. See it live, print, laminate, cut and bag, all in 45 minutes.

The standard laminator uses thermal lamination technology for high-strength seams with no cure time, as no adhesive is required. For shrink sleeves, Karlville Converting will show its latest seamer and inspection combo. The third-generation PLUS series closer, K3 PLUS, operates at 500 meters per minute and forms sleeves through an automatically adjustable forming section.

The main advantage of the technology is that it has no figures to form, so there is no friction. The machine has the fastest setup in the industry with recipes and automatic flat correction loop. For inspection, the most advanced high-speed inspection machine will be on display. It is equipped with E+L edge guides on both unwind and rewind, so it is possible to adjust the amount of oscillation and type (sine or square) through the MMI.
