Precisely print special colors, with a set of fixed inks

The demand for short-run packaging production for special campaigns and product variations is increasing. Packaging printers must meet these challenges in a time- and cost-effective manner.
By converting spot colors to a fixed set of inks, they can reduce non-productive time between jobs and increase productivity.
There are two ways to do this:
- Convert spot colors to CMYK, and eliminate spot colors (where possible).
- Standardize on an expanded gamut (CMYK + 2 or 3 additional inks).
